GCSE Media

DENOTATION-  a boy who is wearing blue who looks hungry aggravated and confused.In the background it looks humid and there is small houses not made out of bricks also there looks like there are no toilets so its understandable why children or people have to dig up dirt to go toilet.Finally he is dehydrated and parched and he needs water CONNOTATION- the boy is wearing a dirty, ragged and ripped shirt and is in need of healthy hygiene and a healthy life.This suggests that the boy has no money and if he does not have money how do you expect him to eat and if he has no food how do you expect him to live. ANALYSIS- it effects the audience by making them  feel like we should not just help our community but people in other countries. finally the audience would feel sick to their stomach because since small kids  cant have private toilets and clean hygiene or any healthy water. this now means we need to make a big impact in these peoples lives and help support t

The part of the course I am  looking forward to is to complete the practical coursework. 2) What knowledge and skills do you hope to learn in Media? I hope to learn how to edit photography and film. 3) What grade are you realistically hoping to achieve in Media? A 7 is what i want to achieve in media. 4) What was the last TV programme or film you watched? The last film i watched  was the meg in the cinema. 5) Why do you think that TV programme or film appealed to an audience? It was  jaw dropping and had good dilemma and there was a lot of drama and shocking moments.  6) What technology have you used to access the media in the last 24 hours? (Radio, TV, phone etc.) I have used my phone in the past 24 hours and i have went on snap chat and instagram 7) What device do you use most to access the media? Language- i know this is a film because there is a date and all the directors are on the bottom. finally it says in theatres.this is all the expected codes and conventions for a film poster.The effect created here is fun  and imaginative because of all the bright colours and the background Industries- the film was produced by a group of people one of them was called lorenzo Bonaventura this was made for universal entertainment who are  associated with science fiction Audience- This looks of a mixed gender or someone particular who would like a fantasy film. Representation- we can see that the girl and the boy are representing each other since they work together to defeat the bad people
