1) What key conventions of an advert can you find and what are the connotations of each one? Answer- The product’s image of a Nike sneaker is quite large which makes the advert standout especially because the colour of the red sneaker is on a black background also the lighting reflects on the shoes which makes the shoes look bright   and new and the finest shoes Nike have made. Finally the use of convergence happens because of the use of iron man and Nike merging together and also they are the same colour. 2) For each convention, write about how this appeals to a target audience.  Answer-Lighting-this appeals to audience because it will make them want to wear the shoes because they are bright and when the audience wears them it looks bright and shiny and new so it will make the audience look good and feel fresh. 3) What is the USP (unique selling point) of the product and how do you know?
