denotation and connotation








DENOTATION-  a boy who is wearing blue who looks hungry aggravated and confused.In the background it looks humid and there is small houses not made out of bricks also there looks like there are no toilets so its understandable why children or people have to dig up dirt to go toilet.Finally he is dehydrated and parched and he needs water


CONNOTATION- the boy is wearing a dirty, ragged and ripped shirt and is in need of healthy hygiene and a healthy life.This suggests that the boy has no money and if he does not have money how do you expect him to eat and if he has no food how do you expect him to live.

ANALYSIS- it effects the audience by making them  feel like we should not just help our community but people in other countries. finally the audience would feel sick to their stomach because since small kids  cant have private toilets and clean hygiene or any healthy water. this now means we need to make a big impact in these peoples lives and help support them
