3. Add detail and improve your Denotation and Connotation (WaterAid) advert analysis – look back at your GLoW to ensure you are using and applying media terminology to your analysis. Also use the internet to research the WaterAid advert because there may be articles that could help with your analysis..
4. Reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course? How can you improve the depth and detail of your media analysis?



what i feel is my strongest piece of work in media so far is my water aid analysis this is because i have shown how good i can analyse connotation and denotation. I think my weakest piece of work is the doctor who blog task because i did not really understand the task causing me to become confused.I need to develop my denotation and skills.How i can improve my detail of language analysis is by revising.

Language- i know this is a film because there is a date and all the directors are on the bottom. finally it says in theatres.this is all the expected codes and conventions for a film poster.The effect created here is fun  and imaginative because of all the bright colours and the background Industries- the film was produced by a group of people one of them was called lorenzo Bonaventura this was made for universal entertainment who are  associated with science fiction Audience- This looks of a mixed gender or someone particular who would like a fantasy film. Kidulthood representation blog task

1) Sam,Jay, moony, claire,Trevor,Lisa, uncle curtis are all the main characters of kidulthood. The place is set in a gang related place for example  London.There is a group of teenagers meaning that there is a gang and also sam is holding a baseball bat meaning there is violence and drama that's about to happen. 2) The stereotype is young people are always involved in violence and gangs and sell drugs and are the cause why now we live in a world where young innocent children get killed for being involved gang crime.finally another stereotype is that all young children are involved in these things but it's not true some children are different. 3)the preferred reading is that all young people are always involved in drug crimes and gangs and gang members are they all killing  innocent young people who do  not want to be involved in gang crime for no reason.finally there a lot crimes happening which means being involved in gangs or being a teenager will automat...
