mise-en-scene Stranger Things analysis

PROPS-the props they have used is lights because it is set in  a dark  setting.then they have used bikes that the characters use as transport this shows that in those times bikes were a popular transport for kids and the bikes play a very big part in the trailer to help us understand the setting more.finally they have used a board game.this also suggests that this set in a old era because board games were a popular thing in the older times since kids had barely had consoles. This will impact the audience by creating curiosity in their minds about the flickering lights
LIGHTING-There is a lot of lights being used at the end of the trailer.this to create suspense because we do not have a clear vision of what is happening in the trailer then suddenly lights turn on and then the trailer is finished.this would have an impact in the audiences mind about why the light was switching on and off.
SETTTING-the setting first starts of in a dark  science lab then its go into a basement that is seen as being dangerous and is the main setting in the trailer and is where the board game is played then they go up into house then they go through a forest suggesting  that their is danger.this would impact the audience by making them feel nervous for the kids

1) Sam,Jay, moony, claire,Trevor,Lisa, uncle curtis are all the main characters of kidulthood.
